Airtel Handed Us a Lal Batti and Asked Us to Make It Disappear.
BRAND
Airtel
Airtel Fast Lane was built for people who are always connected, always moving, and never waiting. That’s the whole idea. So when it came to merch, there was only one place to start: the Lal Batti, the one signal everyone understands without being told twice.
Powered by Fandom took that signal and built a collection around it, priority access, uninterrupted movement, staying connected without interruption, in a set of pieces made to be worn, used, and kept.
Beyond the Network
The most memorable brand experiences don’t end with the campaign. They leave people with something they can keep.
For Airtel Fast Lane, Powered by Fandom reimagined a familiar frustration, the stop, the wait, the crowd, as a collection that carried the feeling of priority far beyond the network itself. By turning that one signal into something people could hold, the idea continued to live on in the hands of Fast Lane’s customers.
Creative Direction
Taken directly from the idea of the Lal Batti, the merch collection’s tote and challan carried the campaign’s central message in two objects, one marking its owner as a priority, the other a playful record of speed limits crossed.
Fan Experience
More than merchandise, the collection became a lasting reminder of what Fast Lane stood for, giving customers a way to carry that same feeling of priority into their everyday lives.
Lal Batti Off. Fast Lane On.
The Lal Batti Had to Go
Everyone knows what a red light means. Stop. Wait. Watch everyone else wait with you. Airtel Fast Lane was built to erase that feeling, on the road and on the network, for people who move without asking permission. Powered by Fandom took that one idea and built an entire merch world around it, down to the last stitch.
Creative Direction
Every piece had to speak the same language: priority, without saying the word too loudly. A tote that reads “this belongs to a high priority person.” A hand fan that says “not a fan of crowds.” Even a challan was issued saying “speed limits crossed,” playful, cheeky, and unmistakably Fast Lane. Nothing subtle. Everything intentional.
Nobody Waits in the Fast Lane.
Powered by Fandom turned Airtel Fast Lane’s promise, no stopping, no waiting, into a merch box that said exactly that, without actually saying it.
